UmNumNum is a boutique home based cookery school based in Cork in Ireland with the aim of helping people to enjoy cooking and to produce great food with the least amount of effort and the maximum amount of impact.
We use readily available ingredients, easy to follow recipes and we are at the end of the phone or on Twitter and Facebook if you run into trouble!
UmNumNum has been in business now for nearly two years and going from strength to strength. Our strong point is our focus on real cooking for regular people. We realise that you don’t have hours to cook each night nor do you want to traipse around the shops looking for unusual ingredients. Keeping it simple is our raison d’etre. We are also conscious of budgets and trying to cater for all pockets. Saying that we don’t compromise on taste, at all, ever!
In the last year we have ventured into the coporate market with lots of success and hope to expand that part of the business in 2012.
In promoting the business we found using Social Media to be a fantastic tool and we are very active on most platforms. So much so that Margaret Smith is now consulting with Goodalls Ireland and working on a lot of their website and social media. She is also giving talks and presentations plus workshops to various different groups. See the Social Media Training section for more details.
